Jon Burns

Jon Burns is the founder of Wonderland Advertising Global IMC and the Regional Creative Director for Australia, Africa and South East Asia. Based in Melbourne, Jon brings over
twenty years of diverse strategic creative and management experience, encompassing six years in the Middle East where he was responsible for many decisive new businesses wins like Petromin, the largest petroleum producer in the world. Three years in South East Asia, where Jon was set the task of regaining Mc Donalds. Jon was successful in implementing strategic integration and public relations campaigns. A further six years as Creative Director of his own Advertising and packaging design agency, MAO in Sydney.
Jon's experience as the Creative and Strategic driver for some of the largest agencies in the world in three International regions,
gave him command over
portfolios, for Coca Cola, Mc Donalds, Premaman,
Pringles, Saudi British Bank and St George Banks, AMP, Ford GMC Suburban, Ford Focus, Nissan Z, BMW Z8, Volkswagen, Red Cross, Skateworks, Bushells tea, Smiths chips, Sankin
electronics, Bridgestone tyres, Unilever, Royal Jordanian Airlines, MBF Travelcorp, Vaseline Intensive care, AHAVA, Shades sunglasses Dannon Yogurt and many more.
Jon's career began in the creative departments of some of Australia’s most respected ad agencies, including George Patterson, McCann Erickson and DDB Needham. The strong integrated experience that Jon brings to the table gives him an arsenal of strategic integrated marketing, design and advertising communication skill sets, that when combined give any client a powerful level of insight into Brand communications, interpretations and possibilities that elevate the relationship possibilities to new heights.
Jon founded Wonderland
Advertising in 2015 Establishing offices in Melbourne and then adding Paris in 2016. Wonderland is growing thanks to Jon's intense strategic input. Two other international locations are to be announced soon.
